Apple and Cisco has together announced that they will prolong the truce before going to trial over the name iPhone. Apple will thus get more time answering Cisco’s claims and Cisco gets more time to make a proposition to Apple. It seems there is more than one thing that’s a tiny bit unclear when it comes to Cisco’s patent, but at the same time Apple hasn’t presented any real defense, except from calling Cisco silly. Apple is still certain of its cause and this truce comes as a bit of a surprise as both seem so certain.
