Apple has now quietly updated its Mac mini. The upgrade is far from astonishing as it is only faster processors that have been added; the budget version now gets a 1.66GHz Core Duo and the top model a 1.83GHz Core Duo processor. Other than that things will stay the same, which include the prices which will stick to $599 and $799. One now starts to wonder what the expected event on September 12 will be about now that both Mac mini and iMac has already been updated.
