We earlier reported on Apple wanted to ditch IBM and go for Intel, which was doubted by many but now it seems Cnet confirms this. And the change won’t affect just a single server station but everything from Mac mini to the high end-Macs. It might be worth pointing out that IBM’s and Apple’s relationship has been a bit frosty thus the fact that Apple is looking for another partner is not unexpected. But this might just be a big media thing to put pressure on IBM. We will probably know more tomorrow. Source: Cnet
