Apple has been able to offer consumers a 30″ LCD monitor for a long time now; Apple Cinema 30″ HD Display and to many this has been the true flagship of the LCD monitor market. In January of 2006 Dell launched its answer to Apple’s 30″ HD Cinema Display; Dell UltraSharp 3007WFP. This resulted in something that could become a true battle of the titans and that is exactly what Cnet was going for whan they tested the two. If you’re about to acquire a 30″ LCD monitor this is a comparison you should not miss, the results are perhaps a bit surprising where Apple’s ol’ faithful takes home the most tests. However it does so with the smallest possible margin and by the two Dell’s monitor seems like the most sensible purchase, but Apple has not made any mistakes with its HD Cinema Display series and, in particular here, its flagship.
