AMD has together with partners revealed a few prototypes of servers at the Super computer convention and what is really interesting about these is that they use Socket F. Socket F has been creating rumours lately and the information that has been going around has been a bit hard to trust. However it seems to be correct as among others MSI now has a Dual Socket F motherboard (1207 pins), which also is equipped with dual HTX slots, ready to be launched in February,2006. Also ASUS has Socket F motherboards coming and then we’re atalking about both two and four sockets.
