AMD OverDrive is an important part of AMD road back to the hearts of the enthusiasts. The information about OverDrive have been quite scarce though, and even though we were impressed by the possibility to overclock each core of the upcoming Phenom processors individually, there’s a lot more to it. TheInq has taken a thorough look at this new utility and they are quite pleased with what AMD is about to unleash. There is tons of system information and the actual overclocking is just as easy as it should be; move the slider(s).
There was especially one thing that really spoke to yours truly; the memory tweaking. Check out the picture below;
If that ain’t pretty, I don’t know what is. Even though Phenom has failed to impress us so far, AMD 790FX has been close to breathtaking. The coming chipset seems to be a killer rarely seen these days.
