AMD has informed us of a preview version of the coming Catalyst 10.4 driver. The driver is called a preview of the full driver, to be expected later in April, which will bring good fortune for all Radeon HD 5000 owners playing Bad company 2. The driver solves the problems with long loading times and even if older cards have the same problem they will have to wait until the full release in a few weeks.
The driver doesn’t support AMD Radeon HD 5870 Eyefinity6, but is available for Windows 7, Vista and XP.
