Small preview imageAGEIA has now for a while claimed that that the PhysX-based cards will show up before the end of the year, and with all the talk about AGEIA and physics acclerations in mind, we can only hope they stick to their plans. Accordingly to The Inquirer it actually is looking good for the physics processors to be launched in the beginning of December, or even in the end of November.

AGEIA already has two partners for manufacturing of their PhysX-cards, headlining is the huge ASUStek, but also graphics card-maker BFG has announced they will make these cards as well. All we can do now is to sit on the edge of our seats, for both cards as well as software, waiting for the abilities to utilize new physics-effects that has great potential to change gaming industry for ever.
