AGEIA continues working toward raising the interest for its physics accelerator PhysX and after lower prices and offering game packages it’s now time for the game developers to get their share of the fun. AGEIA has namely released its SDK  free of charge to game developers, which simply means that game developers can use the PhysX engine withot having to pay license fees. AGEIA says that this is a way for raising the interest for the PhysX engine with game developers and it’s pretty logical that it’s the software, if anything, that will make PhysX the future standard. We need more games with support for the technology and AGEIA’s latest move could be a step in the right direction.
