Acer D241H sports WiFi, mini-OS and widgets

Acer will start selling the new 24″ LCD monitor D241H by the end of April. The monitor uses a 1920×1080 pixel TN panel that ships with both WiFi and its own operating system with widgets. The monitor has an integrated media player that can connect with Ethernet or WiFi to a media server, or Internet video services.

Beside the media player features, Acer D241H has inputs for HDMI, DVI and audio and USB ports. The HD panel also boasts 80 000:1 dynamic contrast and 2ms response time.

The price will be around $400.
