A-Tech Fabrication is a comany specializing in developing quiet and slim computers. Its latest creation is a HTPC called HeatSync 1200, which uses completely passive cooling and measures only 35mm in height. Under the aluminum hood we find a Core i3 CPU and SSD.

HeatSync 1200 focus on the mini-ITX platform and builds on a cooling solution consisting of a aluminum case with big integrated heatsinks and cooling blocks with attached heatpipes that are mounted on the processor and chipset. The heatpipes transfers the heat from the chips to the side of the case that disperse the heat across the big fins. The technique is called natural convection and the cooling is capable of handing an Intel Core i3-2100 processor rated 65W TDP.
