A-DATA has shown a whole lot of different storage solutions at Computex and one of them is a RAID 0 array housing eight A-DATA S592 SS drives. They are connected in four XPG 3.5″ converters and have been benchmarked to show what kind of performance to expect. With 1TB storage the solution offers write speeds of 1115MB/s and read speeds of 825MB/s.
Whether A-DATA is considering selling this configuration is uncertain, but it at least wants to show the possibilities of connecting several 2.5″ SSDs using its XPG EX93 3.5″ converters.
The XPG units have security locks for locking SSDs or harddrives in the unit and minimize theft.
