An Asian hardware site published pictures of what is suppose to be a 65nm AMD CPU a few days ago. Whether it really is a 65nm CPU or not we’re not 100% sure of.

If you look at the branding of the CPU you can see that AMD seems to have left the PR rating, which caused minor hells for people at the time it was presented. If this is something permanent or not we don’t know either. The CPU runs, according to sources, at 2GHz and has 512KB L2 Cache, and no L3-Cache. Whether it is compatible with today’s AM2 motherboards is hard to say, but we would assume that at least a BIOS upgrade is necessary. It’s something time will have to tell. Until then you will have to get by with just the pictures!
