3Dmark06 was released yesterday, as you know, and for our readers the 3DMark-series hardly is any news, since these performance tests are used both in our reviews and in the swedish performance championships. 3DMark 06 is just as its predecessors a synthetic 3D-test that can be used for a variety of purposes. Most of you wonder what differs 3DMark 06 from the earlier versions and that’s exactly what Anandtech has found out. They’ve published a short article which is about the new tests and also how a variety of videocards perform in Futuremark’s latest software. NVIDIA seems to be the biggest winner so far, as 3DMark 06 seems to run better on these cards, overall.
