There still no actual benchmarks with GeForce 9800GX2, but we’ve a couple of pictures that seem more than likely the real deal. Hardware site Chiphell has once again managed to come across another piece of unreleased hardware. A user has dissected the card and published pictures of both cooler and the chip itself. The author claims it to be GeForce 9800GX, but it’s the same sandwich card we questioned a while back. It simply looks very different from the rest of the cards we’ve seen.
Even if NVIDIA will use two separate PCBs they seem to be quite different from the single-GPU PCBs, not the least the huge hole at the rear of the card. The pictures shows the core and code-name: G92-450-A2.
