Dell and 2005 didn’t go as well as many had hoped, it did not manage to reach the expected sales. Despite some concerning reports about delayed analysts meetings and closed negotiations with Royal Philips Electronics about a $700 million deal this will be a good year for Dell. That is at least what Taiwanese PC manufacturers claim. DigiTimes has recenved information that states that these manufacturers believe Dell will increase its PC sales with about 20-25%. If this has anything to AMD’s presence is hard to day, but most likely a factor.
