ASUS N50 cleans the air and let you turn off functions to save power

ASUS has launched a new notebook called N50 and to make it stand out it has gone with a sober design together with some unique features. First of all, the battery has been pampered and through the Super Hybrid Engine, where the user can furn of functions to save power, ASUS N50 can run up to 4.5 hours with a 6-cell battery. Not too bad considering the size. Asus Health Ionizer goes even further and is said to improve the mental energy of the user by emitting negative ions that increase the blood flow to the brain. It would be nice to seem some tests confirming this, although be careful when measuring.

Equipped with a led backlit lcd with an AI light sensor the lcd doesn’t only automatically choose the optimum brightness to save power but it also makes it more comfortable for your eyes.
The led panel is not only more power sufficient but it also has several other benefits over the traditional CCFL such as higher brightness, better saturation, RoHs Compliant and free from lead & mercury.

The Asus health ionizer creates up to 15,000,000 negative ions per cm3.
Negative ions are odorless, tasteless, and invisible molecules that are created in nature as they break apart due to sunlight, radiation, moving air and water. We inhale large amounts in certain environments such as in a forest, shower or close to a fountain, steam or waterfall.
