Creative sues Apple, Apple sues Creative and so it all comes to an end. Creative and Apple’s struggle for the patent rights for its portable music players’ user interface has now taken a new turn. We reported earlier about how Creative finally decided to sue Apple for patent intrusion with Creative’s so called Zen Patent. What we didn’t know was that Apple, only a few hours later, turned in its own suit against Creative. This was hardly something Apple’s lawyers had come up within the last minute as they were apparently prepared for Creative’s actions.
Apple has sued Creative for four other patents that has apparently been discused with Creative earlier. Although, these were not mentioned in relation to any suits by Apple. But so the counter-suit has been filed all we have to do now is lean back enjoy the show, if possible.
