Alienware has caused a lot of stern recently and the main reason is of course Dell’s acquisition. Alienware is mainly known for its extreme systems with specifications and the prices are as alien as its logo. At HardOCP they’ve tested Alienware’s mid-range system Aurora 5500. They’ve not only tested of the hardware and its performance, but also Alienware’s support and how it takes care of the shoppers. Except for the fact that the first system literally went up in smoke Alienware seems to do a very good job. Its prices is a bit higher than most can afford though.
