Matrox hasn’t made much fuzz in the retail segment lately, but it offers a sturdy assortment of graphics products. Not the least its multimonitor solutions. Matrox has now announced that it has increased the resolutions of its DualHead2Go and TripleHead2Go products.

Even if AMD took the multimonitor technology to regular consumers with Eyefinity, Matrox has been offering similar solutions for many years and has now expanded the support for higher resolutions with its 2Go adaptors.

Matrox DualHead2Go that supports two monitors can now handle resolutions up to 2 x 1920×1080 pixels, while TripleHead2Go can spread your video signal across three monitors with a maximal resolution of 3 x 1360×768 pixels with one of Intel’s integrated graphics circuits. If you connect to circuits from AMD or NVIDIA the resolutions are even higher.

Matrox Graphics eXpansion Modules are multi-display upgrades that are easy to set up for notebooks, desktop computers, and workstations. The DualHead2Go and TripleHead2Go modules work in conjunction with your system’s existing GPU and enable the addition of two or three displays.

This way you can expand your desktop surface even when stuck with Intel’s integrated graphics circuits, even if performance won’t be enough to play advanced games.
