nVidia increase sales of nForce 4 SLI

nVidia claims to have sold 1.5 million nForce4 SLI mainboards and over 6 million graphic cards supporting SLI. However you need 2 cards for each system though, which means we could have 3 milion SLI configurations out there, but most likely the majority is using non-SLI-capable chipsets such as Nforce4 ULTRA, Via K8T800  and Intel 915, 925 etc so the real amount of SLI-systems are much, much fewer.

If you want the best available performance nVidia’s SLI is the only choice and despite the relatively high prices more and more people are investing in the technology.
