PalmOne changes name

PalmOne will revert back to its original name Palm later this year. According to The Register it cost 30 miljoner dollar to buy the rights for the name from PalmSource. Now the deal has been made and within 4 years PalmSource has to stop using the name Palm in the name of its operating system and software. At the same time the brand was bought the contract between PalmOne and PalmSource was renewed which means PalmSource will deliver operating systems to PalmOne up until 2009.
