IE7 (Internet Explorer 7) will be Microsoft’s first browser supporting tabbed browsing. This means you will be able to open several pages in the same browser as tabs. The system is already used by the rest of the popular browsers and Microsoft has finally realized that it can’t let this pass by unnoticed for its next update. Now it has published a status report in its official blog on IE7 Beta 1 and its support for tabbed browsing. There is quite a lot of information that we haven’t seen earlier, both technical details and how to handle the tabs in IE7.
