You think you’re keeping up with times because you got digital-TV at home? You’d better reconsider then, digital-TV is practically stoneage compared to what the yankies have been enjoying for several years now: HDTV.


However there is one big concern with HDTV: a regular TV-tunercard for your computer doesn’t cut it. Or more correct the PCI-bussen doesn’t cut it.


ATi has given it some thought and launches ATi HDTV Wonder, a PCI Express-based tunercard with HDTV-support.


Hot Hardware has taken an look at how the card  works in real life. Try comparing the pictures of HDTV and regular analogue transmition.


It’s a shame that the card doesn’t have support for the resolution 1080p which surely will take over soon.
