K-hardware.de has got their hands on a Pentium 4 Etreme Edition with the 1066
FSB. To test they use a reference board based on the 925XE chipset.
K-hardware test the CPU against AMDs desktop CPU, but unfortunately not the
FX-series. The ”new” Sempron does however make a appearance and performs pretty
much as expected.
The P4 manages to give the Athlon 64 a good run, but considering the price of
this beast I have a hard believing it will be worth it.
