Intel does an Apple?

Apple is right now in such a situation where they appear to lead the market when it comes to new concepts and breakthroughs. We’ve seen it with both their iPod-musicplayer and their Mac Mini computer, which is imitated frequently.

The latest company to copy Apple seems to be Intel that during IDF presented a conceptdesign for its coming ”livingroom PC”. The conceptdesign is very similar to above mentioned Apple Mac Mini, the least to say.

”As part of a speech at the Intel Developer Forum here, Vice President Don MacDonald demonstrated several concept PCs, including the Sleek Concept Entertainment PC–a square, metallic-colored device that was immediately reminiscent of the desktop computer Apple Computer introduced earlier this year.”

If Intel will use a partner to cover this market is uncertain, but that its clear that they are trying to cover all areas.
