We earlier reported about Apple’s work with a ”real” iPod video with a fullsize display at 3.5″ and with a new navigation system it would become the firt real video player of the iPod family. After these reports some information about several Apple patents that not only show that it is being afraid of being exploited but also reveal a lot of information about the new navigation system with a unit without a physical control wheel has arrived. The rumoured player will use a touch display with scrolling wheel features and such a technology has been licensed by Apple with nice graphic instructions to clarify the patent.
